If you’re joining for the first time, my vision for this space developed to include a place where I could share people who provide me a sense of love and inspiration, and if you’re re-joining you might have noticed there was no April feature…well April fools!

But with May I am happy to introduce a courageous and beautiful soul by the name of Laura Cipolla.

Before I dive into her, a note on friendships.

I so appreciate my friendships that have weathered the test of time.

Friends who feel like home, who feel like family.

There is something so significant about growing up with people that it bonds us deeper than I think we realize.

These people seem to have seen the real you in all the mess of muddling through some pivotal moments and tough growing pains, yet also celebrated with us in pure and innocent forms.

But I am also over joyed and thankful for the friendships I have made as an adult.

These relationship don’t come as often.

But when they do come it’s fierce and

fast, and it’s how I like to refer to it here with my friend Laura as chicks that click!

Or, in her much more eloquent words – kindred spirits.

Because that’s exactly what it feels like. You just click with some people and it can feel like you’ve known each other much longer than you have. Its easy and it’s comfortable.

This is how I feel about meeting Laura.

I sat next to her friend on my flight to Nashville almost a year ago and ending up spending the day with them both as my sister didn’t arrive until later that night.
